• Blood is always needed for treatment of accident victims, cancer patients, hemophiliacs and surgery patients. 

• Blood cannot be manufactured.

• Only 37 percent of our country's population is eligible to give blood, and less than 10 percent of those who can donate actually do donate annually.

CUBEX is proud to again partner with Red Cross Blood Services to support to our community and beyond Wednesday, February 12th 9am-2pm at CUBEX HQ. Our first of four blood drives in 2020.

This program is specifically designed for a cross-departmental group of Cubex Employees who voluntarily come together to make an impact in our local community through awarding quarterly Corporate donations, or grants. Our mission is to support our local community through charitable giving to elected non-profits in the Phoenix/Maricopa County area.

Volunteer grants are corporate giving programs that encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees regularly volunteer.

Following the current "People and Pets" Food Drive, it only seemed appropriate to create an event that follows the food donations to the next step in its journey. In this case, our people portion of donations will be taken to St. Mary’s Food Bank  here in our own Phoenix backyard.

It doesn’t take much to push a family into hunger. A job loss. An accident. An illness. The people St. Mary's serves come from all walks of life. Hunger has many faces.  St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education. St. Mary’s Food Bank is truly a community-based organization.

Help turn hunger into hope with your own two hands by packing nutritious meals for hungry children around the world. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. FMSC meals are hand-packed by volunteers and sent to an incredible network of partner organizations who distribute them to those in need. Nearly 1.2 million volunteers packed more than 333 million FMSC meals in 2017. More than 90 percent of total donations go directly to feed kids
